help please

PLEASE HELP SOON

     A year ago a friend moved in with the understanding it would only be for a short time to get on his feet.  Few months went by and he found out he has hepatitis C, which has caused him many medical problems.  This problem is believed to stem from his military days.  He now has been taken off work for several months now and has no income what so ever.  I have 2 children and am a single parent.  He has no where to go, and I feel horrible putting him on the street, but soon it's going to be my children and I.  I can't afford to feed, and house a grown man.  Would you please direct me in the quickest possible way to a helpful source to put a roof over my friends head.
